The Exhibitions Industry Collective is comprised of six key industry organizations including the Exhibitions & Conferences Alliance (ECA), Exhibition Services & Contractors Association (ESCA), Experiential Designers & Producers Association (EDPA), International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE), International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM), and the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO).

The Exhibitions & Conferences Alliance (ECA) is a coalition of leading professional, industry, and labor organizations that comprise the unified advocacy voice of the business events industry. The exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows delivered by ECA's alliance partners and their members attract exhibitors, attendees, and buyers from around the world to conduct business in the U.S. In 2022, these events led to $138 billion in direct sales and supported 2.2 million jobs nationwide.

Founded in 1928 to represent the interests of trade show and exposition managers, IAEE is the leading association for the global exhibition industry. Today IAEE represents over 12,000 individuals in over 50 countries who conduct and support exhibitions around the world. IAEE's mission is to globally promote the unique value of exhibitions and events and serve as the principal resource for those who plan, produce and service the industry.

IAVM's members are in the business of bringing people together to share transformative experiences. Representing public assembly venues from around the globe, IAVM’s 6,800+ active members include managers and senior executives from auditoriums, arenas, convention centers, exhibit halls, stadiums, performing arts centers, university complexes, amphitheaters and fairgrounds. IAVM’s mission is to educate, advocate for, and inspire public assembly venue professionals worldwide.

SISO is dedicated to meeting the needs of the for-profit show organizer through networking, the exchange of ideas and experiences, and the ability to learn from each other in a non-competitive and candid environment. SISO’s Mission is to meet the common needs of our members, by providing peer networking opportunities, education, industry information, streamlined business processes and best practices in the business events industry.

Membership Requirements
To join our collective, organizations must meet specific criteria. Firstly, prospective members must be based in the United States and operate as a non-profit association in the exhibition industry. Additionally, membership in the Industry Collective is reserved for organizations that are membership-based themselves, emphasizing a commitment to community and shared goals. Finally, prospective members must also be affiliated with the Exhibition Conference Alliance (ECA), an integral component of our collective. If you believe your organization aligns with our mission and meets the membership criteria outlined above, we encourage you to consider joining the Industry Collective.
